Color change of scrollbar Yes you can change the colour of the scrollbar. Go to this scrollbar generator, and try out a few colors, and they'll give you the code to put into your headers. http://www.solidsnakedesigns.com/scrollbar.html
Can guests vote in polls? No, only members can vote in polls.
Background Image Use this code in your headers to obtain a background image:
<body background="url of image">
replacing url of image with the url of the image.
To make the background stay in place, i.e the board floats over it, use this code
<body background="url of image" bgproperties="fixed">
Forum Font Type To change the font on your forum, Go into Board settings in your admin area, and insert the font type you want into the font box.
Disable News Fader
If you want to disable the news fader from showing on the front page of your forum, follow these steps
Go into your admin area on your board In your admin area, click on Update News Fader, this will present you with the news fader edit page Look for a check box labelled Show news fader, and take the tick out of the check box Click the save button

Move Boards From One Category To Another
Go into reorder boards On the new screen, select the current category the board is in On the new screen, cut the ID of the board you want to move, and click reorder Go back to reorder boards, and select the category you want to move the board to On the new screen, paste the ID of the board and click reorder.
Hidden Categories This is instructions on how to make your forums only visable by members, or even to set up some categories where only some select members can view the boards.
Go into edit member groups in your admin area In the additional member groups section, create a new member group, maybe something like 'member' Assign that member group to your members, do this by going into there profile and clicking on modify. Scroll down to where it says position, and in the drop down menu next to it, select the new member group and then save the changes to the profile Go into edit categories, and select the category you want hidden On the category edit screen, check the member groups member, and click the edit button On the category edit screen, check the member groups member, and click the edit button
You will need to keep assigning that member group to all the members that signup if you are using so your board is only visable by members. You will need to assign the name to each member you wish to have access to the category, if you wish to have it so only select members can view it.
Additional Administrators
What will the additional administrators be able to do?
By default, any and all administrators you add have exactly the same powers as yourself, except they will be unable to delete the message board, apply ad-free, or demote any of the other administrators. Your admin profile, will not be able to be edited by any of the additional administrators, and your IP, stamped at the bottom of all of your posts, will be hidden.
You can customise what additional admins can do, by going into Set Admin/Gmod/Mod Powers' in your admin area.
How do i assign additional Administrators?
You can have additional Administrators at your board. To assign an additional Administrator, follow this:
Go into users profile Click on modify Scroll down to the field labelled position In the field Scroll in Administrtor Save changes to profile
Global Moderators What are Global Moderators
Global Moderators are the next step up from Moderators. By default* Global Moderators can do exactly what normal moderators can do, as well as...
Moderate every board without having to assign them as moderators Ban Members Edit News Edit Censored Words
* You can customise what Global Moderators can do, by going into Set Admin/Gmod/Mod Powers in your admin area.
How do i assign a Global Moderator
You assign Global Mods from inside the profile of the person you want to make a Global Moderator in the same way you assign another admin:
Go into users profile Click on modify Scroll down to the field labelled positionIn the field Scroll in Global Moderator Save changes to profile
To remove a Global Moderator, simply repeat the above, except choose the blank option, instead of Global Moderator
Moderators What are Moderators?
Moderators are people who have control over a message forum. By Default* they have the ability to delete posts/threads, lock topics (make it so no one can reply), unlock topics (if they were locked), sticky topics(make it so the topic stays at the top of the board), unsticky topics(if they were sticky, and modify any and all postings on the board (no matter who they are posted by) that they have been made a moderator of.
* You can customise what Moderators can do, by going into Set Admin/Gmod/Mod Powers in your admin area.
How do i assign moderators?
Go into Edit Boards in yourarea Select the board you want to make someone a moderator of On the edit board screen of the board you want to make someone a moderator of, look for the 4th text box down Place the username of the person/persons you want to make a moderator of that board. If it's more than one person, seperate the usernames by a comma. Click the edit board button Your moderators for that board should now be installed
To remove moderators, simply do the same, except take the username out.
Sticky Topics Sticky Topics, sometimes know as 'pinned' topics are topic that remains at the top of a forum. Whereas unsticky thraeds gradually start to fall down the forum as other thraeds are getting replied to and other threads are made, sticky thraeds remain at the top regardless.
How to make a sticky:
Create a thread in the normal way you usually would When the thread is created, click on the sticky icon in thebottom left hand side of the thread
How to unsticky a sticky topic:
Simply reclick the sticky icon in the bottom of the topic
You can change the border color to the color you would like the border to be.
You can change the 4 outset, to the depth you want, this is currently 4, but you can increase or decrease that value to get the effect you like, you can also choose inset, which will have the inverse effect of what you currently see.
Where it says outset, you can also have inset, where it has the inverse effect.
You can also change the 2px to 1px or 3px etc. This determines how exagerrated the effect is.
You can change the border color to what you want, the four start from how they are listed, i.e. the first numbers will effect the top, the second the right the third the bottom and the last set the left of the table borders

Locked Topics
Locked topics, are topics that cannot be replied to by anyone other then the administrators, and Moderators. This is useful for posts where you don't want anyone to reply, and for topics that have gone off-topic, or out of hand.
How to lock a topic:
When inside the topic, click on the lock/unlock icon in the bottom left hand side of the topic
How to unsticky a sticky topic:
Simply reclick the lock/unlock icon in the bottom of the topic
